Did you know that the Town of Fincastle has over 40 homes, structures and sites constructed or developed in the late 1700's and 1800's? In fact the entire town is on the National Register of Historic Places! The town is a virtual living museum of American Architecture just waiting to be explored. While you can pick up a brochure at the Town offices, Chamber of Commerce, or County Tourism and Economic Development offices, you can now take the tour with your smartphone or tablet! A collaborative effort between Historic Fincastle, Inc, the Town of Fincastle and Botetourt County, the site first uses your phone's (or tablet's) GPS to locate you in town, then show you where sites to visit are close to you and throughout the community.
